Amen. This disaster of a movie destroyed whatever goodwill I had in movie studios in general. I actually used to think - as a wee lad - that film studios knew what’s best. God, I was a stupid ass. I saw Black Panther in a matinee full of black boys between the ages of 6 and 14 and they lost their mind. I like that you get to the real meat and bones as to why this show doesn't work (For me, at least) in that it's sense of humor is terrible. If it's not being crass and shocky, it's trying desperately to use social talking points to try and felicitate laughs along with some attempt at "We feel your pain" reliability that they hope at least gets them good in with the critics and minority and women watchers, and I feel the latter is a bit cynical in how it approaches it.

So why exactly is almost every character gay when less than 10% of the US population is LGBT? Seems like overrepresentation.

Something I feel like Hollywood missed out on was the opportunity to have Oppenheimer and Godzilla Minus 1 come out together and do that double feature so many people did with Barbie and Oppenheimer, considering the overlap in themes regarding the ethics and consequences of nuclear weapons. like imagine; you just come out of the theater watching the story of this scientist who thought he was above everyone, blinded by his own ego, only to live with the consequences of his own actions for the rest of his life after seeing the weapon of mass destruction he created, then to cheer you up, you decide to watch Minus One thinking that its just another monster movie, only to be left speechless by the consequences of the aforementioned person's creation as it reaps destruction to a country trying to rebuild itself after a horrible war....then again, that would be one hell of an existential experience
